The past few days have been quite eventful in terms of information regarding housing situations. There have been surprises and revelations, both good and bad, but it remains to be seen how everything works out. Exciting! Kinda.
In any case, I just found out that the company I'm interning for over the summer has this program where they select a group of interns (I'm not sure how many) and take them to London from June 27th to July 20th. It's an application process, and it sounds pretty sweet, but I'm not sure about it yet. They'd pay for housing, but then I'd have to find someone to sublet for me at our Belmont shindig over the summer while I'm away. Also, I'd be paid at my U.S. rate, but I'd be in London, so everything would be more expensiver. And then there's the essay that I'd have to write about what I expect to gain from the experience and how it'll help my career, etc. etc. Granted, those aren't really problems that pose a huge deterrent to applying, but I'm still not 100% sure about it. I never actually gave studying abroad any serious thought because I wasn't particularly interested, but this is sort of different I guess. I'd be like a late-blooming abroader.
And that's all I've got. Oh, and lovin', of course. Remember that.
