During a storm a few days ago, there was the LOUDEST bolt of thunder I'd ever heard in my life. I know I'm from California and may not know what a "real" storm is like, but this was seriously ridiculous. I was in class and it sounded like a car exploded from no less than 20 feet away. Absolutely terrifying.
Two days later, it was one of the most beautiful days of the year. It was one of those days where you just look out at Eddie's and everything bad thought about Fordham just disappears. Unfortunately, I wasn't really able to go out and lounge on the Parade, but I did make it out into the city to run some errands and finally got a haircut while I was out there. The moptop/Bruce Lee/Beatles-esque hair is gone for now, but it's only a matter before it comes back.
In any case, it was pouring rain again today, but I'm sure that the weather will start to pick up eventually. I cannot even express how excited I am for the nice weather. It's just unfortunate that most of the people that I want to enjoy it with are on the other side of the world. In the meantime, I guess I'll just make a bunch of temporary friends to enjoy the weather with; fair-weather friends, if you will.
Puns are terrible.
Sweet like candy to my soul,
