with the other hearts at the bottom of the sea

Hello my loyal reader(s),

I wonder if anyone outside my immediate group of friends actually reads this thing. I'd be really curious to find out if someone cared enough about what Mai and I had to say enough to say, click on the links in our facebook profiles or something. If I'm talking about you, I'm happy you're reading our blog. Please keep coming back.

In other news, I bought a tambourine yesterday! This is very exciting news. On a related note, we're now holding auditions for tambourine players. Inquire Within - no experience necessary! You can slide your resumes under the door.

I've been listening to the Kinks and this band called Love the past two days, and they're really good. I suggest Village Green Preservation Society by the Kinks, and Forever Changes by Love. In other news, Vampire Weekend put a new song up on their website which is really enjoyable. Definitely check that stuff out.

So today, I'm writing a paper for my Rock/Pop class about two Beatles songs, "A Day in the Life," and "I Feel Fine." First paper I've written like this. Pretty excited to get started on that, kind of. Well, as excited as you can be to write a paper I suppose.

thanks for reading,
michael w.
