hello there ladies and gentlemen!

life looks bleak as a 21 year old. too much work.

abroad in the bronx

Hi friends,

Unlike Michael, I have no bitter feelings toward those who have left us in a quest to further their lives. I mean, I'll just deal with having no friends around for 5+ months. Nearly half a calendar year. Nearly 2 whole seasons. No big deal.

But for realsies, it's been two weeks since school started. Two looooooooong weeks. This semester, Mike and I are on a mission to be more active than ever, you know, to combat the loneliness. We've already started playing basketball, football, snow football, and plan to follow in the footsteps of our part-time roommate and go for a run every once in a while. The wedding will probably be sometime in the fall, so don't worry about missing it. On the mental side of things, Room 427 was literally dead silent today until about 4:00 pm. We probably exchanged about a handful of words at most. The reason? We were all doing homework. Mike and I were reading books for class (something we've both been doing a healthy amount of lately) and Jake, in typical fashion, was listening to the book I was reading on tape while watching tennis on his computer.

Basically, we're living in bizarro world while everyone is being a stud/broad studying abroad (credit to Joe and Claire). You are all missed dearly. Come home.

Peace and love,
Mai

studying, but not (a)broad.

Hello!

This blog is in honor of all of the people who have been loyal patriots, and stayed in the good old U.S.A. This isn't for you redcoats who turned their back on us by leaving. I jest, but seriously, fuck you guys. Anyway, things in the Bronx have been very eventful. Since we've been back it's been non-stop fun, for instance, it was Jake's real birthday yesterday. Also, everyone's favorite B+ level cover band (I don't want to sell myself short) has a show coming up on the 7th of February, which is probably a blessing for your eardrums that you're all away. Besides that, it's been a lot of video games, which has been awesome!! Okay, bye.

Lovingly,
Michael
